Infection control is on the national safety and quality agenda, and there are resource implications for some of the targeted initiatives currently being recommended. But there is little information regarding actual resources currently in place in private facilities in Asutralia.

A voluntary survey was conducted amongst private facility managers in Queensland to gain an understaning of current infection control resources available in the private sector. The results and analyse of this survey will be presented.
